Are you ever at a loss as to where to bring friends who come to visit? Or maybe you just want to be able to show off your knowledge of new places. This walking tour will highlight dining, entertainment and history of Portland's Pearl district. The walk will last 3-4 hours and cover relatively easy terrain.
The Pearl district was practically deserted 10 years ago. Come see how it's transformed into a neighborhood with some of the finest restaurants in Portland. I'll point out different restaurants, great places for happy hour, and a couple of places that should be on your must see list for Portland. We'll see the only indoor gas station in Oregon as well as a gas station that is now a restaurant.
Included on this tour are several establishments for dining, playing, and intellectual enrichment. I'll provide a handout for all the places featured, but you may want to bring a pen to add notes.
We will also get a tour of the armory as part of our walk.
All events start promptly at the time indicated. Bring rain gear if it rains.
Wilf's is located at Portland's Union Station. There is on street parking as well as paid lots nearby.
Cost is $10.
