Join me as I present you with the perfect itinerary for entertaining your parents or friends when they come to visit. We'll see Pioneer Square, Food Carts, Powell's books, South Park Blocks, Portland's biggest farmer's market, the world's smallest park, NW 23rd, the Pearl, Voodoo donuts, Portland Saturday market, and the OHSU Aerial Tram.
This walk is perfect if you're new to Portland, or if you've not done some of the "must sees". The walk will, of course, include Portland's unique history. We'll make use of the Portland street car so you can see how perfectly suited it is for touring the city.
In addition to VooDoo donuts, I'll share with you great restaurants and unusual tasting rooms that will reassure them you've chosen the right place for yourself to live.
Bring a pen and paper to take notes, or better yet, bring your parents.
Cost is $10. Please bring your Tri-Met pass if you have it. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a $5 all day pass, and $4 for the aerial tram.
