I'm an engineer at BioWare locally, but also a huge fan of Unity. It's just so much fun to work with for side projects and mad science experiments. Would be good to get to know other people who use it, find out what they're doing, and learn more!
Welcome to Trailer Friends. Hope you join us for an upcoming event soon! You can also keep track of the group on Facebook and twitter.
Thanks for joining us! We're going to have a blast while enjoying the awesome outdoors of Austin! :)
Hey Andrew - glad you can join us. We'll get a meetup together soon, and I hope to meet you in person. Welcome!
Good seeing you at the LAN, Andrew. Keep in touch. We should definitely get that Mass Effect 3 release party together next month!
Hey Andrew! Glad to see you joined the group!
Good question on the multiplayer game! I'm a bit of an anomaly since I've never been into shooters, which nixes a big chunk of typical multiplayer games. But co-op dungeon crawlers or beat-em-ups (e.g. Diablo, Castle Crashers) work well in their place. Rock Band still has some legs... XBox Live Arcade has the occasional new co-op twist, like Monday Night Combat, or the great River City Ransom homage they did for Scott Pilgrim. But I'm always up for trying new options!
Hi Andrew. Welcome to the group. We are currently planning a meetup event for the end of March or beginning of April. We are waiting on confirmation from game industry speakers."
Yeah, I had the wrong Wednesday in mind, no meeting tonight. I know a decent number of people who work at Blizzard as in game mods and on the account side. Hope you are enjoying it!
Hi Andrew, what game company do you work for? We have a meeting tonight featuring fighting games. If you're interested, check the upcoming meetups.
