This group was started to support and help those who are caring for a elderly parent, friend, partner, spouse or other relative. There are many questions and it can feel overwhelming. As caregivers, where do we look for help and support? How can we find the time to take care of ourselves? Where do I find patience? How can I manage this when I'm in another city? Where am I going to find the money?

If you're trying to answer any of these questions, please feel free to join other caregivers who have some of the answers and may need your help in finding others.

"My name's Anna and I care for my 83 yrs old mother, began January 2006. I'm a single Christian , 54 yrs old who was born in NJ. Recently I too course given by the Alliance for the Mentally Ill....the first thing I'd done for ME since 2006! :-)"

"I helped take care of my parents keeping them in their home for about six years before they passed and as a widow had to raise my son by myself. This seems like a group that I could relate to."
