About Upstate Hiking and Outdoor Adventures

Welcome to our camping and adventure group. This group is developing so people with the same interests can get together and have a great time in the outdoors. Look forward to sharing past camping experiences around the campfire and having new experiences. We will try to be cost effective as much as possible as I know we are all on a budget. The only fees involved would be a donation of $5.00 a quarter to help pay for the website if anyone so desires. This fee is not mandatory. The cost of the trip per individual. a paypal system will be in place by March 8th to collect fees if needed for deposits on trips. As much as possible we will try to keep the fees to be paid by individual on site. When you have RSVP for an adventure that has a cost to it and you do not show you are still responsible for the price of the event.

Please change your RSVP if you have said yes and you cannot make it as soon as possible. Thank you.

Please understand that pets are not to be on trips. Most of the sites we will be going to allow pets in the campgrounds but not on trails and pets cannot be left unattended at the campsite. Also bear in mind that their are wild animals out there who can hurt your pet. So love your pet but keep it safe at home. NO DOGS ARE TO BE ON HIKES OR ACTIVITIES UNLESS NOTED.

Children are welcome if you feel they can handle the activity. When it comes to rafting trips, kayaking, swimming etc, we will use the guide posted by the company we are using. I recommend that anyone participating in a water sport know the basics about swimming.

payment: for those activities that we pay a fee such as camping etc., there will not be a refund if you have paid and cannot join us on the day in question. We still have to pay the amount even if you do not attend. Thank you for understanding this.
