KAYAKING INSTRUCTION

Location : Saluda Landing
Details : Approximately 6 hours of kayaking including 3 hours of group and personal instruction
Equipment : Kayak rental (paddle and lifejacket included) along with delivery and pick-up.
Cost for kayak rental / instructor : $50.00 per person
Cost if you provide your own kayak : $20.00 per person
Limit : 10 people maximum

NOTE : This class is open to both those who want to bring their own kayaks and to those who want to use a rental kayak from Sunrift. I will make arrangements as before to bring kayaks, PFD's and paddles to those who rent their equipment. If you took the first beginner class and want to spend another day on the water with an instructor, sign up and join us again.

We will receive a total of 3 hours of beginner flat water kayak instruction from a certified ACA instructor, both onshore and in the water. In addition, we will take a short kayak trip on Saluda Lake while receiving further personal instruction along the way.
This trip is intended for the inexperienced kayaker who is interested in learning the basics of the sport.
The kayak rental is for a total of approximately 6 hours so we should have plenty of time for practicing the lessons we'll receive.
Bring water, snacks and lunch just like a hiking trip.

If you want to sign up, please send $50.00 via Paypal ($20 if you are bringing your own kayak) or make arrangements to get payment to David. Once you pay, RSVP "Yes". When we have received payment from 11 people, the trip will be full.

Everyone meet in the back parking area of Ryan's Family Steak House 6124 White Horse Rd. at 8:45 am to arrange vehicles. We'll leave at 9:00 am.
