Lake Conestee offers many good easy walking trails that are bounded by swamps, woods and a lake. I appreciate all the work that has been done in the past few years to make it a serene and beautiful park. Thanks Richard for a good hiking experience.

I have a 10 year old daughter, are kids welcome on this trip?

I do not know how strong or mature your daughter is. Mine at 10 could out walk me over 3 - 4 miles with out complaining and would be welcome. The trail is mostly flat but could be a bit wet and cold. If your daughter can handle it, she is welcome. We will walk slow but steady, so it is your decision.
