Downtown Hike Series: Gardens, Parks, and Plazas Part II

Leave at 6:30 p.m. sharp.  I expect to finish about 8:30 p.m. Stop for coffee after for those who are interested.

How do gardens, parks and plazas add to the urban environment?  What would downtown be without them?

Let's get out and walk, visit these open spaces in downtown Greenville, and appreciate what they add to our enjoyment of the community. Gardens, Parks, and Plazas Part II focuses on the areas south of McBee and Main.

Bring your camera as I plan to stop and take lots of photos. I hope the spring flowers are in full force by then.

The Downtown Hike Series is a series of hikes that is intended to introduce you to a downtown Greenville you may not know and focuses on art, fountains, buildings, gardens, and other places of interest that make walking more interesting.

Thanks, Caroline! It was a great evening. I too liked the list and was pleasantly surprised to see a few places that I wasn't aware of. Great job directing us and explaining the sites. I enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to the next outing.
