Nothing like a heavy downpour for the first few miles of the hike. Enjoyed last three to four miles even though everything just stayed soaking wet.

I enjoyed the hike as well, even the rain. Especially enjoyed meeting everyone. Sorry that my sore feet couldn't make the second bit

glad you could make it, that is a good splitting off place for those who want just to do the 4 miles. Hope your feet get better and see you again.

was nice hiking in the rain and the sauna afterwards. Sara found the ripe blueberry patch for us and we snacked on blueberries on the way. Great day to be outdoors, thanks all for coming.

I just got a job interview for tomorrow afternoon. Can't say that's a bad thing, but I definitely hope to catch up with you guys another time! ;)

I'm new to town, though, and this will be my first trip to Paris mountain. Will there be signs for the sulfur Springs shelter?

yes come through the front gate and go to the stop sign, turn right and go about 1 mile you will see it on the left, there will be two shelters together and are numbered 5 and 6 and labeled.
