Black Balsam and Tennent Mountain

We will drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway to Black Balsam and Tennent Mountains. We will be  hiking at 6000' on a rock bald trail with 360 degree views.   Afterwards, we will head down to beautiful Yellowstone Falls for a few more photo opts and to get your feet wet.  Hike Length: aprox 5 miles  Gas gratuity: $4 or $5 depending on # of people in car

Bring lunch, plenty of water and rain jacket.  **It can get very windy on top of a bald.

    I just arrived home from today's hike (9:15 pm) and am not thinking I will want to get up at 6:00 am tomorrow to get ready for the drive back to the Blue Ridge Parkway again. Sorry Kay. I'll see you soon I'm sure. Have a great time tomorrow.
