EPIC! A fabulous weekend on the trail. The bear sighting was cool but unnerving at the Spence Field Shelter. Hiking the trail in reverse was a blessing. The views and sunshine upon Rocky Top was so worth it! Enjoyed the company, Thanks Rick for driving.

EPIC!!! Near perfect weather all three days. Woke Sunday morning to a shower that lasted an hour before we broke camp. Otherwise, dry, sunny with temperatures in the 60's and low 70's. 27 miles from noon Saturday until noon Monday. strenuous and brutally strenuous in parts; beautiful, clear views from top of ROCKY TOP! Yes the one from Tennessee song fame. Thanks Teresa for organizing this one. And to Trevor for your gift of gum. ;D
