Announcing a new Meetup for Upstate Hiking and Outdoor Adventures!
What: car camping/hiking/kayaking/ calhoun falls state park sc
When: Friday, June 15, 2012 2:00 PM
Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)
Where: Calhoun Falls State park SC Tent Loop What is going on : car camping/ hiking/ kayaking/sitting around/your choice When; Arrive June 15th, 2012 anytime after 2 PM, depart anytime before Noon on June 17th 2012 These are walk in tent sites of about 100 feet right on the lake. I have reserved 4 sites, once these are full you must call and make your own RSVP. If you do not want a primitive site please feel free to call and reserve you a site with electric etc. T-7 a. Kelsay T-7 b. ----- T-8 a. ----- T-8 b. ____ T-9 a----- T-9 b.----- T-10. ------ T.10 b. _____ Cost is $20.00 per tent for the weekend. Bring camping gear, hiking boots, swim wear, kayaks, canoes , tubes, lawn chairs and lost of good food for the cook out. If you only want to come for the day you are more than welcome but will need to see the state park site for rules and cost. more will be coming

This site is for people who enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking and other outdoor activities (skiing, kayaking, climbing, whitewater rafting, etc) with other people who enjoy the outdoors. Many of the events will be local hikes that will allow people new to the area and those who have lived her a short or long time to get together in the great outdoors and enjoy nature and new friendships. We are fortunate to live in an area that is comprised of The Upstate, Western North Carolina and The Northeast Georgia area. See you on the trail.
