Day bus to Copper/Vail SOLD OUT, NO MORE SEATS LEFT!

Don't get stuck in traffic, take the Up The Creek Day bus to Copper Mtn or Vail!

Join us for a truly fun experience with your UTC friends & guests. The day buses are a great way to get up to the ski areas and socialize with other members and guests. The Ski bus is a luxury motor coach that can accommodate up to 50 people. The bus has a bathroom, great scenic views, plenty of leg room, and usually can drop us off right by the ski lifts. Bagels, muffins, fruit, coffee and juice are provided for the morning trip up. Wine, beer, pop, snacks, and music are provided for the party on the ride home! We meet at the RTD Federal Center Station, 11,601 West 2nd Place, Lakewood, CO. (1 block east of Union, 4 blocks south of 6th Ave). We will meet the Arrow Stage Lines bus at the South East corner of the RTD lot (North West corner of Routt and 2nd).Click on this link for a map of the RTD parking lot: www.rtd- denver.com/parknride/pnR_Vicinity_Maps/FederalCenter_Diagram.pdf

The bus will drop off at Copper Mtn at approximately 8:30 am and then continue onward and arrive at the Transportation Centre in Vail at 9:00 am. On the ride home the ski bus will leave Vail at 4:15 pm, pick up at Copper Mtn at 5:00 pm and arrive back in Denver at 7:00 pm, weather and traffic permitting. No hassles from driving, parking, or having to make bathroom stops. (The bus has a bathroom). (Lift tickets not included)  The cost for the day ski buses is $35.00 for Up The Creek Dues Paying Club Members; $40.00 for Non-Members (includes a $3 tip for bus driver). The easiest way to pay is to go to our online payment system at: www.utconlinestore.com/Click-here-for-Day-Buses_c3.htm. Or, stop by one of our Trip Leader meetings (The 2nd or 4th Thursday of the month at the Fresh Fish Company), or contact James Mackay to mail out a check. Even if you RSVP for the day bus on this page, you are not confirmed until we recieve your payment.

All buses depart at 6:45 AM. Plan on arriving at the meeting place at least 30 minutes prior to departure! Due join us for a great day of skiing or snow boarding at Copper or Vail!

Someone had such a great time enjoying the awesome 31" of new snow that they took the replacement bottle of hand sanitizer in the bus bathroom - that I had our driver purchase while we were skiing - home as a cherished memento of the trip!

The trip was awesome but......someone took the wrong ski bag off the Copper bus :-( My bag was clearly marked with a pink tag. It has my name and phone #on it. I need my skis for next weekend. Please check your skis. Mine are in a black ski bag and the skis are Nordica Nemesis. Please check your skis and call me.

But it would be a good idea to bring your snorkel! Breathing is important! And your suicide straps if you will be going into the deep powder!

We have confirmed a 2nd bus for Saturday so we can take almost 100 people up to Copper and Vail. Many people are going Saturday so if you are interested in joining us on the bus please go to the shopping cart to sign up and pay asap! We may also sell out the 2nd bus!

It says "out of stock" :(
But that's ok, I found a cheap rental car for $15/day, and will be taking my nephew & his friend.

The 2 buses must be sold out then. Ted must of put quantity limits on the shopping cart to prevent us from overselling. Hopefully you can make another bus!

Per Curtis, we will stay with Copper and Vail. This is due to multiple reasons, including that 60 - 70% of people ski Copper and we will likely have Copper people on the 2nd bus.

I agree with Elizebeth go to the Beav and miss the traffic and go threw Breck and see the sculptures for 20 minutes and go home on 285.

    January 29, 2014

  • david S.

I vote for the Beav. This is the one time we can go directly and not have to drop others off.

    January 29, 2014

    • Elizabeth P.

I would love a have day at Beav and maybe the snow sculptures on the way back....or full day at Beav. I was a Vail participant and either Vail or The Beav is awesome! Just let us know what the final vote is.

BTW would not wan to ski Breck, just an on the way home thing. I have easy access to ski/stay in Breck so did not want to make that the main focus of this bus. I would want to ski Vail or BC.

Need to know where people would like to go for Vail resorts. Breck has snow sculptures, Vail is fun and the Beav is great also .

If enough people signup early we can run TWO buses: the Vail people won't have to lose time to Copper village maneuvers.
