2 Day buses, one to Copper, one to Vail

Don't get stuck in traffic, take the Up The Creek Day bus to Copper Mtn or Vail!

Join us for a truly fun experience with your UTC friends & guests. The day buses are a great way to get up to the ski areas and socialize with other members and guests. The Ski bus is a luxury motor coach that can accommodate up to 50 people. The bus has a bathroom, great scenic views, plenty of leg room, and usually can drop us off right by the ski lifts. Bagels, muffins, fruit and juice are provided for the morning trip up. Wine, beer, pop, snacks, and music are provided for the party on the ride home! We meet at the RTD Federal Center Station, 11,601 West 2nd Place, Lakewood, CO. (1 block east of Union, 4 blocks south of 6th Ave). We will meet the Arrow Stage Lines bus at the South East corner of the RTD lot (North West corner of Routt and 2nd).Click on this link for a map of the RTD parking lot: www.rtd-denver.com/parknride/pnR_Vicinity_Maps/FederalCenter_Diagram.pdf

The bus will drop off at Copper Mtn at approximately 8:30 am and then continue onward and arrive at the Transportation Centre in Vail at 9:00 am. On the ride home the ski bus will leave Vail at 4:15 pm, pick up at Copper Mtn at 5:00 pm and arrive back in Denver at 7:00 pm, weather and traffic permitting. No hassles from driving, parking, or having to make bathroom stops. (The bus has a bathroom). (Lift tickets not included)

All buses depart at 6:45 AM. Plan on arriving at the meeting place at least 30 minutes prior to departure!

The cost for the day ski buses is $35.00 for Up The Creek Dues Paying Club Members; $40.00 for meetup members and guests. (includes a $3 tip for bus driver). If you would like to join us on the day bus, please RSVP on this meetup page and go to www.utconlinestore.com/Click-here-for-Day-Buses_c3.htm to pay online for the trip. YOUR SEAT ON THE BUS IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL WE RECIEVE PAYMNET. Or, you can stop by one of our club membership meetings at the Fresh Fish Company the 2nd or 4th Thursday of the month. Co-Trip Leaders: Rusty Grout, Curtis Cloutier, Robin Davis, Joe Salland, Linda Reed, Cheryl Guth, and James Mackay, [masked]  [masked]). I "Felt The Love" from trip participants - truly cherished people jumping in when they saw a chance to "Boost The Group Contentment!"

Does UTC ever do bus trips to Copper/Beaver Creek? I have had fun on two of your Vail day trips, but would like to switch it out to The Beav. Let me know since that would be awesome!

Beaver Creek is great but it really adds about an hour travel time which is just a bit too long for us

I haven't skied Vail in over 20 years. Hope a few of you can show me the mountain. I will go anywhere, the steeper the better. :)

If you ask around on the bus I'm sure you will be able to find some people to ski with!

We are looking at maybe changing one of the March buses to Copper/Beaver Creek. Many people would like to give BC a try.

We will not have the free ski lessons at Copper on this trip (as both of our ski instructors are unable to attend).
