How's the snow up at your place/Winter Park? My "Cats" are fueled and itching to run up the divide to play in the snow, get snow on their whiskers. I could bring my sleds and we can ride the trails on the east side of hwy 40 from about Mary Jane up to Meadow Creek, or the 300 miles of trails at Grand lake. Up the Creekers,
You are invited to ski, have fun, and lose weight on Thanksgiving in Grand County. Join me for skiing on Thanksgiving Day at Winter Park/Mary Jane. (You can also snowshoe or cross country ski instead of downhill skiing).
Here is the plan for Thanksgiving Day:
-Ski until about 2:30 p.m. at Winter Park/Mary Jane.
-Dinner to commence at about 5:00 p.m. at my country home near Winter Park. (Both Traditional Thanksgiving Food, and Whole Foods, Plant Based Foods (Vegan), dinner selections will be on the menu).
This is my fourth annual Thanksgiving Ski and Feast event. Reviews from prior years have been Excellent.
I also have a limited number of free sleeping accomodations available on a first-reserved basis for the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving and also for Thursday night.
Please RSVP by Monday, November 19, so I can get a head count for the feast. I will line up all of the food. Just bring your skis and your smile!
This meetup group is an extension of Up The Creek Rec. & Ski Club. Up The Creek is a non-profit year round recreation & ski club that has been in existence for over 35 years. We are run by volunteers and have various weekend and day events in summer and winter. In the winter, ski and snowboarding among other activities . In the summer we have boating and camping trips, weekly hiking, biking, volleyball, and tennis groups. We have numerous parties throughout the year and have a happy hour every Friday at a different bar or restaurant in the Denver metro Area. However, the best part is that it is a flexible club that always welcomes new ideas, places and activities including volunteer work. You don’t have to be a member to attend any of our events, guests are always welcome! Membership is currently over 500. See our main website at www.upthecreek.org
