Do you say soda, pop, or something else?

I default to soda, but will use "pop" where that's the norm. I grew up in both soda and pop territory, so I'm a little chameleon-like on this.

Do you prefer window or aisle seats?

window - I'm kind of like a cat. I like to see the view outside and don't expect to need the bathroom much.

If you could invite four famous people over for dinner, from present or past, who would they be?

I love the answers people give to this, but I can never limit myself to 4! Paul Wellstone (my hero and former boss), Martin Luther King, and Bobby Kennedy would be up there. Woody Allen, bell hooks, Freiderich Nietzsche, Karl Marx, John Lennon, Temple Grandin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Gene Wilder, Barack Obama, Jane Jacobs, Earl Warren, Jimmy Carter, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin and Teddy Roosevelt, Abe Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin, George Washington, Saul Alinsky, Upton Sinclair, Winston Churchill, Lino Tagliapetra, Michaelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Phillip Brautigan, Gloria Steinem, Lyndon Johnson, Lenny Bruce, the Monty Pythons, Michael Moore, Mel Brooks, Robert Crumb, Kevin Smith, Dan Akroyd, Alfred Kinsey, Miles Davis, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Scarlet Johanssen, Julia Jentsch...

Why did you join Urban on a Budget?

It seemed like a fun, casual group that did interesting activities in my parts of the city. Not long after I joined, the organizer stepped down, and I took it over!

Introduction

Hi everyone! I've run this group since October 2008. Sometimes I get busy with other community involvements, but I'm always open to questions, suggestions, etc. Have fun without spending a lot!
