I am planning on preparing a program to teach children about the 28 principles of the Constitution explained in The 5000 Year Leap by Cleon Skousen. It should be ready this Summer. It will have games and activities to make it fun for children. I will also summarize what is taught in each lesson, so the parents know what the children will be learning. Hopefully some of the ideas will trickle up to the parents.
My program will be taught each Saturday during the Summer. I've been a Cub Scout Den Leader and this is like Cub Scouts for boys and girls with a focus on the Constitution. That means games, crafts, activities to reinforce the value taught for that particular day.
We have a lot of education to do. I believe that if the American people are educated on the Constitution, they won't be voting like they did last caucus. Anyone else have any ideas on how to educate about the Constitution?

It is so great to see younger people involved as well. And, I appreciate your heart-felt message. I look for you to accomplish a lot for freedom and liberty.Mike ThompsonOn Thu, Apr 5, 2012 at 2:53 PM, Brian Halladay <[address removed]> wrote:Mike,
This is the meetup that I (Brian) have organized.
I know how you and many others feel Mike. I was as surprised as anyone when the majority of people in my precinct voted for those that "will do whatever they (the voters) want us to do" as oppossed to people that stood for principles and our Constitution.
It would be easy to leave the party, I felt the same way on caucus night, but then who wins?
I can tell you that your service IS appreciated. I appreciate it, and I'm sure the majority on this thread appreciate it. Regardless of which party you are in, those of us with principles and the love our nation need to stand together.
I've heard some say that they will never vote again, or be involved in the caucus system. When we have doubts of being involved, trying to make a difference, we need to think of ourselves as soldiers in Washington's army at Valley Forge. Many of them were without clothes, shoes, or even a tent, but they perservered against the odds, and by the grace of God came out victorious.
The odds are against us just like they were against them. Let's continue to ask God to help us and be ready to see miracles. Maybe we can't save the GOP party, but we can help each other, and be a lifeboat to others...and never ever give up.
Let's UNITE!

Date: Thu, 5 Apr 2012 16:15:40 -0400Thanks Candace. Is this the one with Brian Halladay as the head, or the other one, with Jared Law at the head? Also, I know Dave Kirkham well, as I also know Gary Herbert, Ken Sumsion and Morgan Philpot very well. Are you supporting Dave, or how do you feel about all of this. I was really surprised at the extreme liberal bent of our caucus this year. I am considering just leaving the party. I have worked for what we believe in for 51 years and if it is not appreciated, I can always move on and go to the Constitution Party.Mike ThompsonOn Thu, Apr 5, 2012 at 1:18 PM, Candace Chilcott <[address removed]> wrote:
