After several of you talking to me about the possibility of easier hikes, I’m posting this to see how much interest there is in it.

This is going to be a beginner hike designed to prepare you for the longer Monday night hikes which I have noticed are going at a faster pace. We will try to stick together as a group and try to keep a pace that will allow everyone to enjoy each other’s company.

After the hike there will be the option of going to the Canyon Inn to sit by the fire.

Warm clothing/gloves. Hiking shoes. Micro-spikes. Water. A small snack if you need one for energy.

I may have a 5:30 client, if so I won't be able to attend.

What is the hike out at Lone Rock like? Seeing the terrain, it doesn't look too bad. Maybe too steep for in the dark though.

Easier hikes would be best for me.....but I am a member of several photo groups in the valley so I'm afraid I will not be able to attend that many hikes. When spring gets here, I think things will change. I don't really have the equipment to hike in the snow.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
