Wednesday Night Hike for Beginners! - Tanner Park to Suicide Rock

This hike will start at Tanner Park and go through Parleys historic nature park and go along the Parleys trail to Suicide Rock.  (This is the rock that is spray painted that you can see from the free way on your way to Park City. ) This hike is about 3 miles round trip  with the option to explore a little when we get there.

This is a easy hike with very little elevation gain so if you are truly a beginner this hike is for you but anyone is welcome to attend.

Feel free to bring your kids and dogs.  The Parleys nature park is an off least area for dogs.

We will try to stick together as a group and try to keep a pace that will allow everyone to enjoy each other’s company.

After the hike there will be the option of going to the Canyon Inn to sit by the fire.

Looks like this is a very popular beginner's hike. Are you willing to do this again this week, Ana, or is there another organizer that is willing to step up to the plate?

I am still planning on doing this hike if it rains. Please do not wear cotton clothing or you will be cold and miserable. If it is pouring rain or if there is lightning I will re-evaluate. I will update you tomorrow.
    Thanks Ana

Yes dogs are fine. I actually changed the hike a little so we go through Parley's nature park where dogs are able to go off leash.
