This is it, when the flow of water wanes in the late summer and the temperatures are still warm but starting to cool.
All the way up in Deaf Smith. To the top. That means either rock climbing past the 4th river crossing or wading in the river.
Be at the park and ride at 3500 E (Wasatch blvd and about 8100 south) at 6:20, we will leave at 6:30.
This is challenging from the point of view of scrambling over rocks, dodging through dense vegetation (some of the most dense in the cottonwood canyons) and crossing over rocks in a river not 1 time, not 2 times, not 3 times, but at least 4 times! Ha ha ha ha. However the elevation and mileage is really easy not even moderate.
Plan on getting your feet wet if you are going to the top. If you want to stop at the final waterfall, you can keep them dry.
