Hello everyone, my name is Johnny Hebda and I will be co-hosting Utah Theater Lovers for 2014 with Megan (as she is soon to have a baby!). So I will sort of be taking over for the upcoming year. I'd love to hear input on what shows you want to attend as a group. Generally we will attend one show a month on a Saturday matinee, followed by dinner. We select a wide range of theaters throughout Utah to showcase each month. Feel free to message me through meet-up, or email me at [masked] or you can call me directly at[masked] with questions.
About the Show:
Wasatch Theatre Company is excited to present the regional premiere of Stephen Sondeim’s Road Show. Based on the real-life story of two prospector brothers (and featuring two brothers in the leading roles), the musical features a book by John Weidman and orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick.
The story of Road Show focuses on the Mizner brothers, Addison and Wilson, as they adventure across the United States near the turn of the century. Following the death of their father, the duo journeys from their California home to the Yukon region in the late 1890s in search of gold. There, Addison works hard on the claim, discovering a strong work ethic. Wilson discovers a penchant for gambling and conning others. As their journeys continue, Wilson's conman instincts and charm always finds a way to be disastrously harmful while Addison's hard work and ethics seem to save the duo from complete annihilation.

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do we get tickets?
Will we be sitting together?
Yes, we will try. Its open seating and a small theater. We will arrive early and try to save as many seats together as possible. But please arrive early to insure you can sit with the group.
Where will we be meeting?
We will be meeting in the lobby prior to the show at 1:30. Johnny (yours truly) will update this post as the time gets closer as to what I will be wearing. Members of Utah Theater Lovers can buy a drama mask pin for $2 from Johnny as a way to identify each other. Please let him know if you are interested and don’t forget to wear your pins if you already have one.
