March 26th Meetup — Patrick Cox — Why Chairs Have Four Legs: Principles of Good

Why do chairs have four legs? So you don't fall on your backside. Just as chairs need four legs to make them usable and sturdy, websites and apps also need four legs to make them usable and sturdy. We'll go over four basic foundational building blocks — or legs of good user experience (UX) and discuss how these principles can be easily applied to your WordPress sites, or really anything else your going to design or build on the interwebs.

Patrick Cox is a UX Designer at Instructure by day and the co-founder of Aplethora and by night. Besides trying to build a more usable web, he enjoys family, snowboarding, strumming a tune and of course sugar free water mixins.
