"Don't Make Me Think" by Steve Krug was the first book that really got me thinking about User Experience (albeit it's much more about more usability) in my daily workflow, but following that I've really found 'designing for the social web" by Josh Porter useful.

Hi there - I've been a designer, sysadmin, developer, in roughly that order, and I'm getting more into product management and user experience in a new role at work. This seems like a good group to join to meet people and swap tips and stories with.
First time, I came along to a UX Book club. Really glad I came, and definitely coming again.
