Which book has most influenced your thinking on UX?

The polar bear book is still a great resource when it comes to all thing IA and knowing the basics. I reference it again and again. The book I love looking at the most is the 'Universal principles of design', it's a well written book and beautiful to look at.

Are you an innie (work inhouse) or an outie (work in an agency or freelance)?

Outie - always have been - although for some of my projects I became an innie as I was based at the client site.

What's your favourite design/UX related quote or saying?

"Design is not just what it looks like design is how it works" - I love this as I think it encompasses up what UX is about - turning a product from something that just looks good to something that I love using

Introduction

Hi, my name is Geri, I'm a UX Architect working for a small digital products and service agency in London. My background is Graphic Design and I moved into the UX field over 10 years ago, when I had a Eureka moment when working with a UX colleague!
