Which book has most influenced your thinking on UX?

Predictable: The Psychology of Everyday Things Less predictable: The Inmates Are Running the Asylum: Why High Tech Products Drive Us Crazy and How to Restore the Sanity

Are you an innie (work inhouse) or an outie (work in an agency or freelance)?

An Innie. I think UX needs accountability and ownership to work properly. When you have to live with your own decisions, it's impossible to get away with fluffy advice and theories. If you're wrong, you'll feel it.

What's your favourite design/UX related quote or saying?

If you're not embarrassed of what you put in front of users, you've waited to long.

Introduction

My name is Michel. I'm a UX Designer, Researcher & Developer hybrid. Currently working as a UX team of one at Lokku, a London startup, on real estate search.

What Michel J. is saying about this Meetup Group

Excellent crowd and overall well-organised meet-ups (especially considering it requires more presentation than your average evening of talks).
