What is the biggest UX issue you're hoping to solve?

Gerraroom is a private social network application like word or excel except for social media. Each room is your own private Facebook except you can share anything with the most advanced internet experience possible. Create rooms and invite friends, classmates, colleagues, loved ones or a huge email list and then share and store almost anything including pictures, YouTube, Websites, Documents, Music, Web Images, Notes & Video. Everything is live and presented across a range of views from a huge zooming scrolling canvas, single page view, list view, grid view and slideshow. Chat comment and email the group with the click of a button. Bring in items directly from most cloud, social media and web services. Just click the service on the left hand tool bar or just drag and drop a file. Gerraroom is presented as an application and not a web service, its more like excel than facebook. This radical approach is risky and needs a lot of feedback from a UX community to ensure get it right. Thx

What stage are you at with your startup?

Initial beta launch. Looking for a test community and feedback.

Would you be willing to demo your product (or give advice if you're a UX designer) at a future event?

Yes absolutely. We are ready for beta testing and really need the type of help UX Cafe is focussed on providing. As a team we are all happy to help our fellow startups.

Introduction

I'm an Accountant that had an idea for a privacy/group collaboration system. We started to build Gerraroom 1.5 years ago and now have a live beta on www.gerraroom.it
