Since it's summer, and schedules get a little crazy, we thought we'd try something different for June. We're calling on any members who've been to a conference in the last year to do a short presentation to the group and answer questions.
To prime the pump, we've already lined up 3 members who will be talking about SXSW, IA Summit, and UX Midwest. But there's room for more! If you've been to a conference and want to chime in, please email Dan (daniel.allen.newman at gmail.com) or Melinda (melinda.miller at gmail.com) to get on the schedule. Our group is quite diverse, so it does not have to be a "UX" conference per se.
For anyone presenting, we'll send out tips and a time limit, depending on how many speakers we have.
If you're itching to read a book, get started on July's title: Seductive Interaction Design. And don't forget, we have a standing 35% discount from this publisher.
Have a book you'd like to read and discuss with the group? Suggest it on this discussion board thread.
