Discussing "Lean UX" by Jeff Gothelf with Josh Seiden

For our June meetup, we'll be discussing the new book Lean UX by Jeff Gothelf with Josh Seiden. You can get a taste for the book in Jeff's earlier Smashing Magazine article on the subject, and you can also check out his website or follow him on Twitter.

O'Reilly has provided us with a generous 40% discount on the print book, and 50% off the ebook.  You can grab the promo codes on our Sponsors page, and buy the book on the O'Reilly site.

Remember, you can come to the meeting even if you haven't read the book. Hope to see you there!

We're reading this book because one of our members suggested it. Have suggestions of your own? Contribute them on this discussion board thread.

We had a great discussion about the book and related issues and experiences. Side note for those of you at my table when we talked about FB and the use of A/B testing... it looks like they switched back to their previous interface.

Could I borrow the book from someone local (C-U) for a couple of hours this week? I've read excerpts from it and have read some things he's posted online, but I'd like to see where he goes with the collaboration part.

We have a FREE copy of the book to give away!

To enter, just send a tweet with a link to the event and include our twitter handle (something like this: " I'm looking forward to reading #LeanUX for the next @UXBookClubCU meetup. #uxcu http://meetu.ps/pTmLF ")

No Twitter? That's OK... simply come to the event page on Meetup, and post a comment answering the question 'Why are you excited to read Lean UX?'

All tweets and comments must be received by noon THIS FRIDAY, May 17th, to be entered in the drawing. Good luck!
