Production Debugging 101
Production debugging is extremely important when you deploy your applications to a large number of client machines, to cloud environments, or to servers that you do not completely control. In this two-hour session you'll learn how to debug your .NET applications in production environments, without Visual Studio and often without any other debugging tools installed on the machine. We will discuss crash dumps and how to analyse them automatically, synchronisation problems and how to inspect them with wait chain analysis, memory leaks and how to locate large objects and understand why they are retained, and some additional topics as time permits. The session will be accompanied by many practical demos.
