I've been very bad at getting the details out for this month's vSharePoint and I apologize. I think the Christmas hangover and being generally too busy and distracted is to blame.
Ok, this week we have Chris Stone and myself delivering the goods.
• Chris will be delivering "Interesting Use Case - Content Types for Phases/Statuses". Content types are often confusing but they can also be used in interesting ways to allow us to handle different information at different times. Using an example we will walk through when this option might be useful and how to build them. Credit to Laura Rogers for the original idea.
• I will be bringing a past favourite that we didn't get to finish, the "book of 5's ... top 5 favourite lists for tools, techniques, etc. that we love in and around SharePoint"
We conducted a poll last month as well to get some new viewpoints and feedback. One thing we heard from a few folks was that the meetings ran a bit long. So we are going to shorten the presentations a little to 40 minutes, from an hour. So we should be able to get out of there by 1:30 or so.
See you Thursday!
