Zombie Archery Costume Potluck Party!

 

Its Halloween Month at Royal City! Enjoy our last night of Zombie archery with food and drinks No alcohol please. Come dressed in your costumes, favorite archer or any of the undead! prizes for best costumes, balloon shoot outs and our apple shoot off our very own 3d torso of undead fred!



Royal City will provide the PIZZA for this event. Please bring something to share or contribute. We will extend the range time to allow shooting a socailizing with the UNDEAD! We will have a Max. capactiy of 18 shooters for this one night. 3 lines of 6.

Ever wonder how you would fair during a Zombie appocolypse, well here's your chance.This night is generally for MEMBERS who have some experince with a bow but not mandatory

Please arrive on time or even a little early so you can be fitted with your equipment.
The professional instructors will determine your left or right eye dominance and select the best equipment to suit your strength and draw.
After they review the basic safety rules, you'll be making Swiss cheese of your paper target.

Enjoy 3 hours shooting indoors over progressive distances and at the end of the event,

We will be shooting Zombie Targets and 3D torso of the UNDEAD, shoot apples of fred's head! Wacth out for the civilian targets it coud cost you!

at 8pm



Company policy:
1. We request your first name and a profile photo of you before you attend your first event with us.
2. The Lanes will only allow 14 shooters per event maximum therefore no guests unless they are signed up with the group.
3. Archery Group events are for over 19 years of age and older.
4. Neither The Lanes nor Vancouver Archery Meetup Group is responsible for your safety.

Fees:
$25 cash payable to The Lanes
You may use your own recurve or compound bow (NO crossbows) and arrows (no broadheads). You are expected to pay $25 to the Lanes

Prizes:TBA

The Lanes sells pop, coffee, chocolate bars and chips. for $1

Remember: consistency is the goal, accuracy comes with practice and occasionally a little good luck.



Transit:
The Lanes are transit accessible from nearby Braid Station (20 minute walk, uphill) and Sapperton Station (6 minute walk north from Columbia Hospital) Use 426 Columbia Street EAST to plan your trip with BCTranslink's website.
Look for the silver door on the EAST side of the street, two doors along from Boormans Archery and across from The Fireside Pub. The Message Board has a google map and photo.

Driving:
Free street parking after 6 pm.
CARPOOL requests or offers go in your RSVP. Include where you are willing to meet or pick up. Contact other members directly to make arrangements. Be courteous and on time.

Cancellations:
We understand 'life happens.' If you need to change your RSVP please do it as soon as you know so someone can take your place (please remove yourself from waiting list too if you think you won't make it at all).
