Learning all about your players these days is important. It’s not only about releasing a great product, but to also understand your community as well. Understanding starts with listening, and what better way to listen by providing many ways for players to leave feedback? Responding to feedback is crucial, and constant communication is a must.
In this talk we will cover how we at A Thinking Ape manage, support, and grow our communities. How we have listened to our players and iterated on our products to keep our retention high and users happy.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
Nazar Del Rosario
Naz has been managing and growing the community support team at A Thinking Ape for almost 3 years. His past experience has been from an IT background where he worked at Sophos. He also worked as an IT consultant for Graycon Group.
He also really enjoys playing a variety of online competitive games such past games as, counter strike source and world of warcraft. He is currently enjoying playing Left 4 Dead 2 and DOTA 2.
His passion for gaming and understanding of customer support made joining ATA the ideal fit for him to be in.
Jodie spends her time at A Thinking Ape taming forum trolls, feeding moderators cookies and solving online social issues with a smile.
Her past experience with ACRONYM Games saw her tackle things from art creation, running scrums and team management to data tracking, shipping builds and scheduling projects.
For fun Jodie likes to install Skyrim mods and draw comics, and can often be found among friends playing board games at the Stormcrow Tavern. Her current game obsessions include Neverwinter Online, The Secret World MMO, and Knights of the Old Republic I + II.
