Join us for the Kilowatt Hour; an electrified one-hour ride celebrating electric vehicles of all types and wheel counts!

Meet with other electric vehicle owners to share experiences, advice, and information. Talk shop, show off modifications, and trade equipment. Get purchasing advice, battery handling tips, and pointers on how to conduct your own repairs. Exchange information about routes, road safety, and EV style.

Meet between 5:30pm and 6:00pm at the corner of Homer Street and West Georgia street on the grounds of the Central Library. We ride at 6:00pm.

Cool, thanks. I'll probly go quite early, find a nice book and read for the day while the battery charges as I am a bit out of shape and using about 21 Whrs/Km even on the flats. :(

There are electrical outlets for charging by 'emergency doors' on the north side (Georgia St. side) where one can plug in a charger.

Is there an outlet somewhere at the library to charge a battery? I'm coming from Port Moody and I don't mind coming in quite early to charge up before the ride if thats possible.

    •  Well, it was great up until the moment we were about to leave Library Square. My main seat bolt broke as I started to pedal off the square, and my seat lost all stability. Luckily I had duct tape onboard, so manage to jury rig the seat enough in order to get home. I missed the sunset at Jericho. Next time.....
    •  The excitement and energy was on this ride.
    •  Another breathtaking sunset at Jericho Yacht Club. One thing about this group: few drinkers. Everyone's too busy thinking about the next improvement for their bikes. And, they're driving.
