Come and help us create a media-grabbing spectacle!

The [Cambie] bridge opens to the public at 11 a.m. Bring your banner, come in costume, come straight from your soccer game!

Join in the fun -- dress as your favourite endangered species, or dance around in your shiny dinosaur suit -- be creative and help us celebrate our shared concern.

Welcoming ceremonies at noon, banner drop shortly after, parade starts at 12:30.

Subcomandante Tomato says: "[The] objective of [the] day is [to] send a strong message for Ottawa to lead nations to reduce carbon emmissions in lead up to Climate Summit coming up December in Copenhagen."

Join us at the NORTH end of the Cambie Bridge, on the Pacific Boulevard offramp.

    •  Didn't see any other e-bikes out there today, but at least a couple hundred regular (and un-regular) bikes. There was a booth at the eco-fair with a very cool conversion-to-e-bike kits. It's a 500 Watt with li-ion battery pack, controller and choice of lever or grip throttle. They'll install the kit and total price is $699. The phone number for Nifty Electric Bikes is [masked]. Contact is Paul Elliot.
