Join in the fun -- dress as your favourite endangered species, or dance around in your shiny dinosaur suit -- be creative and help us celebrate our shared concern. Welcoming ceremonies at noon, banner drop shortly after, parade starts at 12:30. Subcomandante Tomato says: " objective of day is send a strong message for Ottawa to lead nations to reduce carbon emmissions in lead up to Climate Summit coming up December in Copenhagen." Justin Lemire-Elmore arrived by electric bicycle in the city of Halifax on the East coast of Canada on September 29, 2008, having set out from Vancouver 59 days, 7100 km, and 2700 amp-hours earlier. Total electricity bill: $8.57. Join us at the Vancouver Electric Vehicle Association (VEVA) monthly meeting, where Justin will be giving a full length video / slide show presentation of his cross-canada trip.
