Tha Woodlot - Intermediate

Time to hit the Woodlot for some awesome riding! The trails here are similar in style to Fromme but because it doesn't see as much traffic, has more dirt and way less rock. The trails are intermediate and up in difficulty; some steeper/rooty sections.

If you are comfortable on lower Fromme or trails like Ned's on Seymour then you will be okay on these trails. The pace will be determined by the group and no one will be left behind, lots of stops and chances to catch up. :)

Plan will be to ride up and do couple loops of some upper trails like B-Line, Toadstool and Snakes and Ladders before riding out via Bloggystyle and Shotgun.

Meeting spot is at the end of 287th St

I can be reached @[masked] in case of lateness or lostness.

Hey guys i heard great things about woodlot and never got to try it!
Now are these full DH shuttle trails or AM trails? Need to know which bike to bring. And also, how much peddling are there? If it's anything like going up SFU or frome, i might be slow going up, down is not a problem.

The climbs up SFU and Fromme are a cake walk compared to the Woodlot even though its a bit easier after they fixed the road for all the logging. Depending on where you live you'll be doing a lot of driving. It will be over an hour to get to the shore from the woodlot.

The pedal up is crappy. You will likely be able to ride half of it but will end up pushing for a while. It's okay though because I will be bringing the bigger bike too so you can keep me company if you come along. :)

Thanks for checking! I don't mind dogs along provided they are well behaved dogs, meaning they don't jump in front of anyone while riding and don't bark when we are stopped. That can get very annoying.
