Riding level: Begintermediate*

We'll meet at the second gate (by the washrooms/water tower) then head up and ride Bobsled, Floppy Bunny, others... followed by King of the Shore or Natural High and then out on Lower Griffen.

If you have questions - send me a message or post a comment.

I am wondering if anyone rides '13 Giant Trance X3. I am considering my options for new bike and would love to hear a feedback.

    • Jeff

Trance is more XC, Reign is more All-Mountain, was looking at them.at Dunbar Cycles yesterday

Anything with full suspension would be a big step up from what I have right now :)

Anyone gathering support for putting in an order for lights?

    August 15, 2013

    • Richard

I think it was Kyle who mentioned... that someone was looking to pull a bulk order together - not sure what make/model he was talking about though.

      August 15, 2013

    • Angela

Dario is trying to get 10 people gathered to make a bulk order. I added myself to the list last night. You should too. Just find Dario in the member list and send him a message (tiny tiny mail icon under a users name in the center column on the profile page <--- I know someone was having trouble finding it.)

Great night of riding. Thx to the crew that joined me on the Crinkum ride. @ Richard - someone else said "it's all rollable" lol

Note to self - let some air out of the tires & get new brake pads ;)

    Great time!

Thanks Richard for organizing and Andrea for leading one of the groups. It's ironic that the extra time I needed to put on more armor for the Crinkum ride meant that I didn't get the head start I needed for its climb!

Thanks Richard! It was great to try a new trail! I think Floppy Bunny needs a more appropriate name, though. :)

    Just a note:

It's a good idea to pack a flashlight or to start bringing your lights - if something happens like a flat tire - you'll be glad to have a light.

Will meet the Crinkum group at the 3rd switchback. If you decide to do Kirkford to Crinkum from the 5th lemme know and I will meet you there.

    August 11, 2013

    • Denis

Just saw a video on Kirkford... obviously i havent bee nthere in years but was told it was upper crinkum years ago when i used to ride it. Its definetely the trail, tons of rocky switchbacks

      August 11, 2013

  • Richard

So ÄŒ§ ¦Þ has agreed to lead a group up and do Crinkum Crankum... (Its considered a Blue/Black)

Suggestion is to have amour - shin & arm - as well as full face. Can I ask if you're interested in heading up with Mike to post a comment here so we can determine the amount of interest.

    August 6, 2013

    • Denis

You can't see the entrance for Crinkum from the 5th. You have to walk it in the forest a bit then it starts there...there is a sign posted on the tree at the trail head, but as mentioned, unseen from the fire road.

      August 10, 2013

    • Denis

if i can get out of work early afternoon i will go, but if i leave work anywhere around 4:30 then cannot.

      August 10, 2013
