Fromme - Begintermediate

Welcome to August! This month we'll switch between SFU and Fromme.

This week's ride will be on the lower trails on Fromme!!!!

Riding level: Begintermediate*

We'll meet at the second gate (by the washrooms/water tower) then head up and ride Bobsled, Floppy Bunny, others... followed by King of the Shore or Natural High and then out on Lower Griffen.

You will need lights for this ride!

If you have questions - send me a message or post a comment.

*Begintermediates

Excellent ride tonight... Thanks for coming out and thanks to Cam for taking the one group up to Crinkum. Here is a link to the GPS for my group: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/366907157

Fun showing visitors some the trails we get to ride all the time! The trails were: Bobsled, Floppy Bunny, Roadside Attraction, King of the Shore & Lower Griffen.

And yes, lights were a must by the end of the ride.

Hey there! Does anyone know where to rent a decent MTB for a couple of days? I am just visiting from Germany until the weekend.. Thanks in advance guys!

    August 28, 2013

    • Fiona

Tilman, the map isn't accurate. Make sure you head up to Coleman. Any parking north of there is permit only so make sure you park south of that. Head up Mountain Hwy to the gravel roads and keep going until you hit the water towers before the second gate.

      August 28, 2013

    • Richard

Thanks Fiona... These maps are becoming an ongoing issue.

Darn, I just realized I only had two working gears!!! Just ordered some new shimano SLX but it won't be here till thurs... Know anyone with a SRAM 10pd rear shifter I could borrow? Otherwise I can still ride but the flats are a little slow fornme
