Lower Burke - Begintermediate

Well fall has arrived - lights at night will be needed!

We will stay on the lower trails... We'll likely ride Braap or Dawg then loop back to do Tyler's and then Hustler.

Riding level: Begintermediate*

These trails are a good progression from Burnaby Mountain.

You will need Bike lights* for this ride - they are now COMPULSORY!

If you have questions - send me a message or post a comment.

*Bike lights should be 500 lumens or higher.

*Begintermediates

You’ve been mountain biking for at least one year or have decent general riding skills and good fitness.

You're capable of controlling bike speed and direction on moderate (green and blue) single-track.

You can handle terrain that is slightly technical, with smaller rocks,  roots,  and some drops. You may get off your bike and walk when the terrain gets technical.

You can climb on single-track as long as it is not too technical.

Now that was fun! Beautiful evening after a day of rain - what better way to spend it than riding in Burke's fabulous mud... Thanks for joining me and here is the GPS: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/384895465

The trails were Ray Ray's Fun Factory, Dawg, then Hustler!

Just saw where this actually is - don't think I can make it on time coming from my end of town. Maybe a weekend thing. Cheers.

Do we park on Harper Ave? Or do we need to park somewhere else?

You can park right on Harper. There's lots of parking along the road

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
