Friday is my weekend ride day due to my non-standard work week and its time to get back to the reason I originally joined this Meetup; to find people to ride with weekdays when I can ride.
Jeff, Shredder and I have been riding the Fraser Valley Fridays over the summer so why not post the ride for those of us who can ride Fridays to get warmed up for the weekend?
This week we are riding Seymour XC and will be looking for the new trail near Dale's recently finished by Digger. The terrain is rolling so bring a trail bike not a DH or FR bike. Skill level is strong intermediate plus and the pace will be whatever my legs can muster but they feel pretty good today.
The start times and locations will vary week to week but should be posted by Wednesday.
The groups will be a max of 6 and the skill and fitness level is usually strong intermediate-plus to keep things moving.
This isn't a race or a death march but these are typically trail rides with plenty of pedaling on rolling trails and may include some tougher climbs.
We usually ride rain or shine. If the weather is wetter than normal very windy or buried in low elevation snow the ride will be cancelled. Those calls are usually made the morning of the ride so check in before you head out.
Guests are welcome, please include them when you rsvp to keep the group count accurate. If you have more than 1 guest let me know and I will usually make an adjustment.

By agreeing to participate in this ride you acknowledge that mountain biking is considered a high risk activity and injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence of the sport. These risks include and are not limited to equipment failures, weather conditions, collisions with natural and man-made objects, including, but not limited to exposed rock, trees, snow, ice, earth stumps and man-made obstacles on or adjacent to the mountain bike terrain, collisions with other cyclists, pedestrians, animals, et al; becoming lost or separated from the group; failure to ride safely or within your own ability, and you accept these risks and the possibility of personal injury, death or property damage and the loss resulting therefrom due to any cause and without limitation. In the event of injury or loss, you and/or next of kin waive all future claims against the organizer(s), et al.
The organizer(s) shall reserve the right to turn away any participant who shows up without RSVP, unprepared and/or ill-equipped to handle this ride. A helmet, water, good sense of humour and a sense of fun are required no exceptions. Other required items are appropriate clothing, armor, food and a trail side repair kit.
