Ladies only ride returns

  • Burke mountain

Calling all girls who ride or want to ride!

This week we will ride Burke mountain lower trails which are loamy and flowy...unless it's raining then they become rooty and muddy. ;)   We can start on Dawg and move around from there.  Lots of stuff to explore here and we can move up the mtn depending on fitness/skill level of the group.

If you have a functioning mountain bike (hard tail or full suspension) and want to get better,  this is the way to start.  Ride with other ladies, without the pressure of the guys around.  Even if you just want to get out for some exercise and have some fun, you are welcome to join.

If anyone is going to be late or a no show, I would really appreciate a text or a phone call. [masked]

Ya, you totally could have ridden overtime. If we ride Burke again, we should head up that area and Christine can ride it with us.

We should ride it together one day. You'll kill me in the uphill but maybe you can show me how to ride the slab. I figured out a line to take but I don't trust myself to roll the first section of it.

Hey, I was just wondering - does anyone drive to the lady only rides from near the downtown Vancouver area that would have room for me and my bike? If not, do you guys ever do trips that are a bit more accessible via transit (with a mountain bike). Sorry, I'm not driving at the moment.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
