Sumas Mountain - Intermediate +

  • May 17, 2014 · 9:30 AM

I am going to go ride Sumas Mountain trails. Plan is to ride Knob Gobbler and Squidline. 2 of the best trails in the Lower Mainland as far as I'm concerned. Suitable for solid intermediate level riders.

5 - 6 inch travel bike that you can climb on is best.

Climb is about an hour or so up depending on speed.

Meeting place is here: https://goo.gl/maps/YzPZg

I can be reached @[masked] 9620.

Knob is by far my favorite trail ever! So awesome in the dry. Ended up doing "The Sauces" and "Emma Peel" instead of Squid. Legs are nicely toasted but happy!

Off to Bend. If you have never done them, Noah Fear, World Cup and No Time Out make a pleasant and more technical change from Squid Line.
