Sadly KNOLLY is not quite ready. I will be riding the trusty Pivot

Darn you have to ride your Pivot not your Knolly. First World problem at it's finest. :)

Bring lots of water everyone. Looks like it's gonna be the hottest day of the year so far at 27 degrees!

Hey there. I'm just getting back into the mtb scene (I ride XC). I've been riding Lower Seymour Conservation for the last few weeks - how would this ride compare? I'd like to come out but I also don't want to hold up the group. I have yet to ride any trails on the North Shore - thanks!

Rode the trails tonight... went relatively well, except for Bottletop, had to walk quite a few sections of the DH. I might come and just do my own thing if I can't keep up lol.

If you have to walk some sections no worries, as long as you can ride most of it. If you do decide you will be coming, make sure you RSVP "Yes" so we know to expect you.

Gave the kid to a random stranger in the park. Looks like I can make it.

Hey Jeff can you qualify XC intermediate a bit more for me. I'm new to the shore from YYC. I ride XC there mostly intermediate. I don't mind a climb, but I'd like to know a little more about the downhill. Thanks for your help

Welcome. The Shore is hard to describe as the terrain is quite varied. The trails we are going to ride are technical with lots of rocks an roots and small drops (rollable). This goes for ups as well as downs. The trails are at most moderately steep and the downs are not sustained as the terrain is rolling. Hope that helps. :)

      Indeed, sounds good to me.

Don't worry about it. If you don't survive we will bury you on the trail. :)
