Let's go to SFU this weekend and try a run down Nicoles... It's considered a black run (so some walking will be involved) - but come out and join in the fun!
Riding level: Begintermediate*
We'll head up North Road then turn up the Trans Canada Trial to the top of SFU. Then head over to the Naheeno park trail and finally over to ride down Nicoles...

You’ve been mountain biking for at least one year or have decent general riding skills and good fitness.
You're capable of controlling bike speed and direction on moderate (green and blue) single-track.
You can handle terrain that is slightly technical, with smaller rocks, roots, and some drops. You may get off your bike and walk when the terrain gets technical.
You can climb on single-track as long as it is not too technical.
All organizer(s) are volunteers who do not accept responsibility for rider safety and health state before, during and at any time after this event.
Your Assumption Of Risk:
By agreeing to participate in this ride you acknowledge that mountain biking is considered a high risk activity and injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence of the sport. These risks include and are not limited to equipment failures, weather conditions, collisions with natural and man-made objects, including, but not limited to exposed rock, trees, snow, ice, earth stumps and man-made obstacles on or adjacent to the mountain bike terrain, collisions with other cyclists, pedestrians, animals, et al; becoming lost or separated from the group; failure to ride safely or within your own ability, and you accept these risks and the possibility of personal injury, death or property damage and the loss resulting therefrom due to any cause and without limitation. In the event of injury or loss, you and/or next of kin waive all future claims against the organizer(s), et al.
The organizer(s) shall reserve the right to turn away any participant who shows up without RSVP, unprepared and/or ill-equipped to handle this ride. A helmet, water, good sense of humour and a sense of fun are required no exceptions. Other required items are appropriate clothing, armor, food and a trail side repair kit.
