Back to Burnaby Mtn - Begintermediate

Let's go to SFU this weekend and try a run down Nicoles... It's considered a black run (so some walking will be involved) - but come out and join in the fun!

Riding level: Begintermediate*

We'll head up North Road then turn up the Trans Canada Trial to the top of SFU. Then head over to the Naheeno park trail and finally over to ride down Nicoles...

If you have questions - send me a message or post a comment.

*Begintermediates

You’ve been mountain biking for at least one year or have decent general riding skills and good fitness.

You're capable of controlling bike speed and direction on moderate (green and blue) single-track.

You can handle terrain that is slightly technical, with smaller rocks,  roots,  and some drops. You may get off your bike and walk when the terrain gets technical.

You can climb on single-track as long as it is not too technical.

Irina, sorry you didn't come all the way. It was much cooler once we got off the road. It's not so far. Next time.

Well that was hot! Thanks for coming out - Nicoles was well managed by all - definitely need to hit that again... I think I'll add it into the rotation when I get from vacation in August. Here is the GPS link: http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/540090520

Yes - all good - I meant to be good news... :-) With no work being done on Gear Jammer or Upper Cut I was happy to see they were still doing some trail work.
