Sunpeaks Bike park

Andrea and I are going to Sunpeaks to ride the park for a couple days over the August long weekend. I have never ridden the trails but from what I hear they are great!

We will be riding Saturday and Sunday.

I figured I would toss it up here and see if anyone wanted to come along. We can't offer carpooling however.

We can plan to meet near the ticket purchase area for 9:45. Lift opens at 10 am. Just look for a bright green Intense Tracer and a white Fezzari.

Cheap lodging here: http://www.sunpeakshostel.com/

Not for the faint of heart. Steep, dusty, loose, rooty and eats brakes for breakfast. Bring your A game.

But the tour guide was pretty darn awesome. Thanks, Ed and the Lower Mainland Sun Peaks crew for a great weekend.

I liked the Park and thought it was quite like Ninja Cougar Karate Monkey Pizza Cat and Angry Pirate. The blacks always had flowy ride arounds for the big stuff I didn't ride. Harper Mountain was great. Locals Ed and Laura were great to ride with. If you are going up to Sun Peaks send Ed a message as I'm sure he's happy to show folks around. Thanks again Ed.

Great weekend great riding friends and local guides! Be sure to take two off road worthy vehicles if you want to shuttle Harper and other areas. The climb up Harper requires higher clearance vehicles but would also be a nice climb since its more shaded and a bit more interesting than a well groomed logging road. Definitely worth the trip.

Hi, it's look nice, I like to join you, but I don't have the car for that long distance, the farther I can take it is to the whistler, but if someone can offer me a lift I can give the money for the gas, thank you

Maybe. No exact plans yet. Might plan to do 2 park days and then ride other trails on the way home on Monday. I am open to whatever though.
