Puppet meetup group - I'm not currently trying for a full blown Devops one(people seem to get confused what Devops is), but there'll be a round table afterwards I talk about hiera.

I'm open to suggestions however, but the one Sean was doing didn't have very many presenters.

Is that for the DevOps group reboot or a new puppet group?

For those interested/invested in puppet, I have a separate puppet meetup I'm attempting to start as well.

I would be very interested in meeting up for beers and helping get a community started in Vancouver.

I work for Demonware who do quite a bit of DevOps work from Vancouver to provide SaaS solutions for AAA video games.
In fact I used to manage a DevOps team before we realized what a terrible idea that is.

There are definitely a few other companies doing interesting DevOps work in Vancouver - ActiveState are working heavily on Stackato, Joyent have an office (acquisition of Layerboom), the lead developer behind Sensu is in Vancouver, one of the original developers behind Xen is doing something interesting around SDN & Storage with convergent.io etc etc.
I also bumped into a few other local "DevOps" folks from other local companies at DevOpsDays & Velocity last year.
