Halloween on Caprica
We're planning a Hallowe'en costume party - BSG themed!
Viper Vampire? Sounds like a drink. Frankenstein's Cylon? An American werewolf in Delphi?
Anything BSG goes - old or new - political, civilian, military. Be a cylon or a human - you decide! The more creative the better....'cuz you know there will be prizes! Or come as yourself! Costumes are optional.
Since we're meeting in a cafe, we're asking you to order food and/or drink while you are there, just to make sure it's worthwhile for them to have us there! The location is at the intersection of Boundary and Hastings in Burnaby, just a couple of blocks from the Kootenay bus loop. If you see a Cylon walking down the street, follow... (but, you know, at a safe distance!)

I'm also going to check the Army Surplus store and maybe Princess Auto to see if there are any orange jumpsuits. Keeping the options open....and sewing to a minimum, I hope!

i work saturdays but i can set my self up to get out early to meet you all. I am new to this site and and old BSG fan. sorry i havent seen the new series yet . dont shott me, i have had a bad years to get through but i am back into si-fi again. hope to meet some new friends. ohh ya i am new to vancouver and love being in the middle of all the si-fi film shooting happening around here

Welcome Tom! We've got a lot of fans of the old show and people who are just starting on the new one. We may even show an episode or two at the party...I was thinking "Valley of Darkness" might be appropriate....very scary! We look forward to meeting you.

i found both black muscle shirt and grey t under shirt at zellers the pacs are zip locked so i mixed and matched a got two of each

I asked Alan and he said he thought his clue was "perfectly obvious." Hmmm....Our costumes are almost finished and I'm pretty proud of them. I'm glad that so many people are making the effort, but please don't feel that you won't be welcome if you don't have a costume. Being a BSG fan is really all that is required!

I wish I could have attended, just too tired after getting back from the studio a few days prior. I hope everyone enjoyed the the Viper Mark VII wing piece I was able to get Val. Cheers :)

I've been checking around for grey muscle shirts and green or black tank tops with racer backs for a pilot off duty uniform. No luck at Walmart or Mark's Work Wearhouse. Any ideas?
