A Good Man - a film about dance, history, race relations, ego, creativity, and more

My uncle has a film at DOXA today at noon.

It's about the creation of a dance piece to honour Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday. Was Lincoln a good man, or just a politically savvy one? What does he mean today? How do you address this through dance?

A Good Man follows Bill Jones, one of the most acclaimed, and also most controversial, choreographers in the U.S. today, as he & his troupe grapple with these questions.

Here's the link: http://www.doxafestiv...

I know this is short notice, but it looks to be a great film so maybe someone will want to head on over.

VanCity, today (Sunday, May 8th) - 12pm.
