Buddhist Meditation Retreat, by donation
with Brian Ruhe
Sunday December 30th, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
This is our next in a long series of popular day retreats. No theme has been chosen yet. Our last retreat on Dec. 9th went very well with 22 people and this is a good way to meet like-minded people as we have open discussions and chat over lunch with great food!
Bring a pot-luck lunch to share and join us for this one day retreat with a balance of sitting and walking meditations, loving kindness contemplation and dharma talks with questions and discussions.
Our retreat will be held again in a spacious, quiet meditation area in the bright common room at the top of a Co-op with an outdoor deck and a serene view over False Creek. You are free to use your own techniques. Expect mostly meditation with sitting for 30 – 45 minutes and walking meditation for 15-20 minutes. Beginners are welcome.
Chairs will be provided at the venue. If you prefer to sit on the floor, please
kindly bring your own sitting gear (meditation mat and cushion/bench).
