Vancouver Meditation Meetup (VMM) is an education hub formed to help Vancouverites explore different styles of meditation available in Vancouver and to inform members about some visiting teachers and upcoming spiritual events happening in the city.

Meditation is not just a static process of sitting but a dynamic process of becoming aware of how we are moving, experiencing and living life.

The group is organized by Brian Ruhe, a Theravada Buddhist meditation teacher and author of the recent book "A SHORT WALK ON AN ANCIENT PATH – A Buddhist Exploration of Meditation, Karma and Rebirth" with classes in night school centres. We will explore various ways to meditate to help us understand what we are experiencing physically, emotionally, spiritually and cognitively and to help us decrease stress in the city.
